This site’s purpose is to let you know as much about me as possible: from my hardknocks upbringing, to my proud military service, academic success, civic participation, and dedication to politics, volunteerism, labor and public safety.
I’ve been an activist, advocate, and volunteer in this district for almost 4 decades. I represent working-class families, laborers, and businesses, concerned about public safety, education, healthcare and so much more.

Growing up in District 52, like so many of our constituents, I experienced significant daily personal struggles just to survive. Thankfully, my dedication to hard work, problem-solving abilities, and a deep-seeded cultural optimism, have always carried me through.
These personal traits combined with accessible community resources, dependable business leadership, my time in the military, and my continuing education, have made me the advocate, activist, and volunteer, that I am, and who now seeks to represent you and District 52.
As a former soldier in the U.S. Army, and National Guard; as an active member in the Veterans of Foreign Wars; and as 15-year veteran Deputy Probation Officer of Los Angeles County, I’m proud to have served our nation in defending our freedoms, including my ability to run for office, and your right to vote. Just as I’ve been an activist and volunteer for those in need, I take pride in representing our military, law enforcement, and labor constituents as well. Just like our families and businesses, their participation and support in our district endeavors is essential to uniting our community, and addressing whatever challenges come our way.
